A photoessay that explores the existence of orthodox values in a modern world.
Each model is a modern pastiche on one of the four evangelists (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) — those attributed with the creation of the four Gospel accounts in the New Testament — and their associated animals (man, lion, ox and eagle, respectively). The direction also draws parallels between religion and contemporary social notions, such as the process to salvation and the selfie (i.e. both strive towards a ‘perfect image’.)
